September 1949 | Founded the company at Kubocho, Nishi Ward in Yokohama, Kanagawa Prefecture. |
September 1961 | Moved the main factory to Higashikawashimacho, Hodogaya Ward. |
July 1967 | Obtained a crane manufacturing permit from the Kanagawa Labour Standards Inspection Office (Ku No. 235) for 10t gantry cranes, etc. |
April 1968 | Obtained a crane manufacturing permit from the Kanagawa Labour Standards Inspection Office (Ku No. 257) for 10t pillar jib cranes, etc. |
July 1968 | Obtained a crane manufacturing permit from the Kanagawa Labour Standards Inspection Office (Ku No. 269) for 30t overhead cranes, etc. |
November 1970 | Opened the Utsunomiya factory. |
July 1971 | Obtained a special parking equipment license from the Minister of Construction (No. 1020) for elevators for automobiles. |
January 1973 | Obtained an elevator manufacturing permit from the Kanagawa Labour Standards Inspection Office (Ku No. 429) for hydraulic elevators with 30t load limit. |
February 1984 | Opened the Tokyo branch. |
July 1984 | Obtained a special parking equipment license from the Minister of Construction (No. 1050) for Moriya elevators for automobiles. |
June 1988 | Started the sales of MACLIFTER, a vertical conveyor for cold storage warehouses. |
April 1996 | Opened the Nagoya branch office. |
February 1997 | Moved the main factory to Fukuura, Kanazawa Ward. |
April 1997 | Obtained an ordinary construction license from the Minister of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism (No. 6463). |
October 1999 | Constructed a test tower on the premises of the main factory. |
December 2000 | Acquired the ISO 9001 certification. |
July 2001 | Opened the Fukuoka sales office. |
October 2002 | Opened the Osaka branch. |
July 2003 | Started the sales of the first heavy duty MRL traction elevators in Japan. |
August 2003 | Established the marine vessel department and started the sales of elevators for marine vessels. |
June 2008 | Opened the Shanghai representative office. |
December 2008 | Obtained an elevator manufacturing permit from the Kanagawa Labour Standards Inspection Office (Ku No. 1153) for traction elevators with 20t load limit. |
From November 2009 | Obtained a license from the Minister for a device to prevent the elevator from running when the door is open. |
From June 2011 | Obtained a license from the Minister for a special fire-prevention equipment (smoke-proof elevator doors). |
August 2011 | Turned the Shanghai representative office into a subsidiary and established Shanghai Moriya Elevator Co., Ltd. |
April 2012 | Converted the Nagoya branch office into the Nagoya branch. Converted the Fukuoka sales office into the Fukuoka branch. |
December 2012 | Total units sold reached 5,000. |
May 2015 | Opened the Technical Center. |
July 2015 | Opened the Saitama office. |
April 2018 | Opened the Keiyo office. |
April 2020 | Opened the Atsugi office. |
April 2021 | Opened the GumaSaihoku office. |
March 2022 | Listed with 2nd section of the Tokyo Stock Exchange. |
April 2022 | Opened the NishiSaitama office. |
April 2022 | Moved to the Tokyo Stock Exchange Standard Market |
October 2022 | Moved Technical Center to Kanagawa-ku, Yokohama Opened Service Center and moved Service department to Kanazawa-ku, Yokohama |
August 2023 | Opened Product Management Center on Kanazawa-ku, Yokohama |
October 2023 | Opened the Hokusetsu office. |
